I'll be picking up my new 13' Scamp trailer in Buckman, MN at the end of this month, then meandering my way back to Seattle to check out the San Juans. Any suggestions of where to stop along the way? My preference is the least mountainous route, as I'm new to towing!!! Toured all over this part of the country in my RV previously, but I think I'd rather get some experience towing before attempting any mountainous passes.

Thanks for any tips/advice!

How far do you want to go out of your way? We love the black hills (SD), yellowstone WY, and have goals to see Glacier Park, Montana. Hot springs are really nice too, love Thermopolis in Wy, and haven't been to the Hot Springs in SD. What is your tow vehicle? a little trailer has little effect in the mountains if you have a large tow vehicle. It can be a bit more exciting in a small Tow vehicle.
