It's sad. But.. it's nature.

They have finally cleared most of the pines out of traveled and populated areas here, and all the campgrounds that haven't been bit by fire are open. After 5 years, the helicopter logging seems endless.

I miss my pines. I had 5 taken out, they were HUGE, but I do not miss cleaning up all the needles. My abatement is now a one day job instead of a week of back breaking bagging and hauling.
