Datil Well Recreation Area Campground has anyone been by it recently? If so how is it these days? My son and I stopped there for part of a day and a night some time ago, maybe 2000 or just before. I remember it as a nice place. We may take a hop up there to see it. My co-pilot has not been there, nor has she seen the VLA between Datil and I-25.
It would be great if they are having some wildflowers in bloom and/or birds to be watched. We were there in the
fall, same time as the Albq. Balloon Fest.
