Difference between Free Camping and Sleeping

I think there's a difference between free or near free camping and sleeping.

When traveling we often spend a night is a rest area not camping just sleeping.
Then we'll spend a week+ camping in a campground. inexpensive campgrounds can be found. Here's a picture of last week's camping trip. Cost $4.00 per night.

I agree. I do both. 90% of my camping is free. I'm lucky enough to live in an area where there's free camping all over the place.

But occasionally for work or when I'm traveling somewhere, I'll need to just have a place to sleep. That's included rest stops, the office parking lot etc. Difference for me is not being able to set out a chair and make myself at home, and not being able to just let the dog out to roam free (my dog has great manners and stays close to camp, doesn't chase animals, and we mostly camp where there is no leash law).

It's usually a situation of parking, sleeping, then getting moving again more or less first thing in the morning.

Dulcimer?

It's always interesting trying to find a chair that's portable, comfortable, and doesn't have arms that get in the way of instruments. But those triangular ones make my crotch fall asleep...

Yes Dulcimer. The chair that I like and use is made by Browning. I got mine at Sportsman Warehouse. I seem to end up doing a number of campfire concerts. I recently started the Ukulele to add to the musical variety.

Happy Camping.
