We bought our first trailer in the fall and used it for the first time this past weekend! It's a 76 Beachcomber, needs a little updating but we really like it! We camped at Gull Lake near Red Deer, Alberta. We had the smallest trailer in the campground and ironically ended up in a site next to the largest unit in the campground (with a garage in the back that housed a large Harley motorbike). Here's a picture, you can't help but chuckle at the irony!

to the group! Nice picture. I guess you're having better weather there than we are at the coast???

Did you enjoy your 'eggsperience'???

Congrats and welcome to the 'flock' guys! Sounds like you had a great time, and are on the road to fixing up and personalizing your rig already too, huh?
Personally I get a kick out of going to the dump station and being crammed in between these HUGE rigs in line! They take FOREVER to empty out, and my tiny blackwater tank (Like 5 gallons or so I think) is empty in seconds! hehe
I hope we get to see pics of your rig as you fix it up and add your personal touchs!
Happy Trails folks! Joe

We do of course!! My 5er looks like a minnow surrounded by Whales at the campgrounds..LOL
they can sit in their big rigs watching tv, making sure they dont get a speck of dirt on them.. but I am outdoors enjoying nature..

We did have a great time and the kids loved it! The trailer was perfect and of course the cost of towing it was much lower than those big set ups! Can't wait to get out in it again!
