first visit to cape cod/nickerson state park,ma

Just returned from annual trip to cape henlopen state park,de accept for the facilities, it remains beautiful peaceful relaxing trip and my dog finally is getting over the sound of the ocean and coming in!! will be going to nickerson state park/cape cod,ma end of july for the first time any feedback would be great. really looking forward to it. thinking of stopping at wells state park, ma for maybe a day. thanks...

Never been to Cape Henlopen. Isn't it built on an old military base? We did drive by once getting to the Lewis Ferry. Won't do that again. Are the facilities at Henlopen in need of repair? Raz

exactly it was a functioning look out for wwII this is why they'
re working on replacing those original sewer/water lines, old very old. you drive by the lewes ferry to get there. they do not have enough functioning bath houses, for the women at least, they are filled to capacity just about every night.
