Maybe I missed it, but I did not read a reference to the National Trails Museum in Independence MO. Lots of good recommendations as one family member was interested in the trail and we have visited almost all the mentioned museums. I think the best may have been the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in Baker City OR.
