This past weekend at Foshee Creek Campground in western Alabama. If you are ever over that way, wonderful little Army Corps of Engineers campsite with great volunteers. While you are there, head on over to Greensboro and eat at the Pie Lab. Yum!

[The Minimalist]

Great campground, though a bit up scale for us. We stayed there on a one nighter, Thursday, the 16th, on our way back home to Louisiana from Charleston, SC.

Also, not to far away is COE Jennings Creek, which we have really enjoyed in the past. We were going to stay there again, but decided to try a different one this time.

We really enjoyed it and it was great for our kids. They loved running around in the huge green field at night. We'd like to go back when there is a meteor shower. Think there would be really good views.

We stayed away from the big camping section and scored a lakeside, quiet spot over in the first loop. (Site #6) If you are introverts like us, the first loop is the best place to be, I think.

Thanks for the other site recommendation! And hate we missed you! Maybe on a return visit?
