Gamble Rogers - Florida State Park

This past weekend we were fortunate to obtain a walk-up reservation at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area. This N.E. Florida Park is located @ Flagler Beach on the Atlantic Ocean just North of Daytona Beach. There are only 34 campsites and reservations are hard to come by at this time of year.
Our site had a beautiful ocean view. Weather was great, having just cleared after a nasty Nor'Easter had come through with high winds and rough surf. See pix. hi there....did you by chance run into a couple from new brunswick in their escape 17??? our friends were there as well....i LOVE this park!!!!

We didn't see the Escape, I would have asked for a tour if we had seen them ! The only FG eggs in the park on Sunday/Monday were two Casitas and our Scamp.

hi deb...turns out they only arrived monday for 4 nights. guess you all missed each other. we have a 2 week reservation for this park in february. it most likely won't be hot-hot there but it'll HAVE to be alot better than the snowy weather we'll be leaving behind.
