good site for singles and groups near Coos Bay

We stayed for a week at Bastendorff Park near Coos Bay that was quite nice. In addfition there is a group site there that is laid out quite nicely. The grouip site accomodates 22 rvs with overflow sites nearby. The park is ruin by Coos County.
You can check it out on Google Earth at:

43"20'26.92 N and 124"26'46.09 W

There is a large nice shelter in the group area along with nice rest rooms and showers.
The park sports an overlook to the sea from a 100 foot cliff.

Sites are $15 a night.

Looks like a great place for an egg gathering.

In order to use those co-ordinates in Google Earth's "Fly To" field, it needs to be transcribed to read: 43.202692, -124.264609
I had a little difficulty with those co-ordinates; they put me in a field near the Coquille River between Highway 42 and 42S. Then I clicked on "Find Businesses" using "Bastendorff Park" under "What" and "Coos Bay" under "Where" and found:

Bastendorff Beach Park
63377 Bastendorf Beach Road
OR 97420-6622
(541) 888-5353

at 43.202769, -124.210110 or 43"20'27.69 N and 124"21'01.10 W

That's odd, I got the coordinates right off of the Google Earth screen.

Your original coordinates were almost correct. 43"20'26.92 N and 124"26'46.09 W. Change the bold 6 to a 0 that will put your right in the middle of the campground.

Enter following in to Google Earth if you wish
43 20 26.92, -124 20 46.06 or
43 20.44866, -124 20.76783 or
43.340811, -124.34613

The long form for coordinates is degrees () minutes (') Seconds (") FYI on a standard keyboard with a number pad the symbol can displayed by holding down the Alt key and entering 248 on the keypad.
Northern latitudes are a positive number or an "N" either in front or at the end. Southern latitudes are expressed as negative number often expressed with (-) in front or an "S" either in front at the end
Eastern longitudes are a positive number or a "E" either in front or at the end. Western longitudes are expressed as a negative number with (-) in front or a "W" either in front or at the end.

There you have the correct coordinates. Bud's mistake was an easy one to make small screen 6 and 0 can look alike.
