Spent a couple days at the ocean, Im not in love with staying at state parks but this one was not too terrible. I also got to meet Bobbie Mayer! How fun is this! It was a meetup for some corgi owners and low and behold i was able to meet my first CAMPSTER! Very nice.
The walk to the ocean was very close,
The layout was nice for meetup groups. 10 or so in a round.
Perhaps a Washington Glass Egg meet would be fun here!

We've been to Greyland Beach several times and it was always enjoyable. Can be a little windy at times but the campsites are pretty well sheltered as I recall. The wagon-wheel layout is one of my favorite. A Washington eggmeet would be fun there but it's a little far of the beaten path, the beaten path being I-5.

I just want to say that the Campster was not as lopsided as it appears in that photo! (In the next one Valerie took it looks level.) Funny angle there.

It took me only about 4 hrs from Whidbey- not bad, although of course there are closer parks. I was going to take the Keystone ferry but the mid-morning ferry was cancelled that Friday. I really liked Grayland Beach, too. I had a great campsite. I didn't get a lot of pictures, though, and they are all of corgis on the beach (I forgot to take one of the Campster in the campsite.)

I LOVE grayland state park! In fact i got reservations for July and Sept!! its such anice clean park... Yeah the rounds are nice.... for a group camp.. but it seems they are always occupied by someone... I just happen to get lucky for July....

another great site for group is Tiadnapam which is located just outside Morton WA
I have drivin out there acouple of times to check things out... its about 40 miles East of I-5 if no one minds the trip.... its a nice clean park.. sortta secluded..

Yes!

See, I do know how to level a trailer... that first photo had a weird angle because it definitely looks slanted. I think I had a bit of a lean to the back but not side to side. Poor Janine was sitting in the trailer because she had had a fight with Teddy the first night and gotten bitten and was still pretty grumpy about it so she was left out of the group picture. (Poor Janine is going to hate camping soon- at Lake San Antonio she had her broken tooth and then at this one she had a big hematoma on her face and some bites on her side.) (And Teddy is still limping.)

Actually, the spot was pretty level right to left. Nice sites at Grayland Beach. Pretty easy to back into and big, but they wouldn't let us put two trailers in one.

Bobbie

I was in the woods, too, next site over had dunes but I had a nice little forest for shelter, which was needed! It was a great corgi meet. Valerie and I had the only eggs, but there was a cute little A-frame and also a 4-Wheel PopUp in our group. Lots of corgis, too.
