Hi Theresa!
Suggestions for additional Florida Panhandle /Gulf Coast area State Parks to consider as winter destination.
*St. Joseph Peninsula (aka T.H. Stone) - located on a spit of land jutting into the Gulf of Mexico. Features top rated beach, hiking, biking, kayaking, wildlife viewing. Features two campgrounds with trails between the two.
* Ochlockonee River State Park - Natural setting with some riverside campsites.
Features many trail areas for hiking, biking, kayaking, wildlife viewing.
* Bald Point - camping not available. Located near Ochlockonee for a short day trip. Offers great beach walks, nature trails, fishing, kayaking, and excellent bird watching opportunities.
Note that winter weather is a bit cooler in the Panhandle than you will find during the same time frame in the Keys in Southern Florida. Additional info can be found on Florida State Parks website and Reserve America.
