We had booked at Fintry for this weekend. Now it's closed. Does anyone know an alternative that not too many would know about so as to get a spot?

If you prefer Provincial parks Ellison is on the lake near Vernon, you have to travell through the town, follow the signs off of hwy #97. You would have to check for availalbility.
Kekui bay is camping but no shade, this is a provincia park between lake country and Vernon. Herald is a very nice provincila park just west of Salmon Arm, and Scotch Creek at Shuswap provncila Park. but it is not the Okanagan. Okanagan Provincial Park just north of summerland with no road closures over the holiday weekend.

Okanagan will be busy. Never stayed but there is Allison provincial park on highway five off of the connector not far from merrit.

Privates are closure together. Peach orchard municipal in summerland, about two blocks from the lake, Todd camping in Peachland,

A couple of other nice spots are Kettle creek at the bottom of the Okanagon and Christina Lake (about 1 hour east of Osoyoos). We stayed 2 nights at Christina lake on our trip back from Yellowstone and it's a very nice campground with great swimming.

Another very pretty Prov Park is Kentucky Alleyne Provincial Park. It's a bit of a drive off of 5A and we were going to skip it until we hit Kentucky lake and then we were blown away with how nice the view was. The drive to/from Princeton is worth the drive alone.

Of the 3 Kentucky Alleyne will be most likely to have spots but we have fluked out on every trip and found spots at all 3.
