Holland S.P. Michigan
Finally took the CT on a nonVW campout. Just me, the wfe, and the dog Tia. The screen room worked great, doubled our space.

Very cozy!!! Lotsa people in BIG campers commenting on how cozy and cool. I drove 3 1/2 hrs on less than 1/2 tank fuel in Jeep Cherokee.

Very nice! Good thing you did not drive the VW or you would have had even more visitors.
We are heading out tomorrow for a few days.

What kind of screen room is that and how easy is it to set up? Currently in research mode. Looks like a fantastic time and you survived the heat!

The screen room is for a picnic table. It has a post in the middle that is supposed to go through a table. I have an old wood auger and a cordless drill, I drill a 14-16'' deep hole and insert a small pipe and put umbrella over it. The sides attach with hooks. After the weekend you pull the pipe and push the dirt back in hole, and all is back to normal.
My father-in-law bought the umbrellas at Sears years ago on clearence.

Wow Rick, Amazing! I didnt even realize it was an umbrella! I also didnt know umbrellas came that large or with screens. Sounds nice and simple for 1 person. I'm going to hunt for one. The internet is my friend! LOL.
What are the dimensions of your umbrella? Looks to be 10X10 maybe??

Close!!! It's a 9x9. Yes, the screens just hook on, so you don't have to put it on. My F-I-L only gave like $40 on clearance or something like that. It does make it convienient that it comes apart.
