We spent Thursday Night to Sunday evening at Lake Metigoshe State Park which is on the border with Canada about 10 miles north of Bottineau, ND (June 28 to July 1). A very nice campgound in the woods (hard to find in ND at times) and up in some hills called the Turtle Mts. All very pretty, nice lake with bike/hiking trail, boating, fishing. Only bad thing, besides the possiblity of ticks in tall grass, was the roads into the park were under construction, gravel. But over all a strong thumbs up. We had electric and water, but the water is not very good in that area and we did not use it. Looks sort of rusty.

Only bad thing . . . . unless something has happened to the mosquito population, I'm sure ticks weren't the only critters making your life miserable. lol

No, not a problem with mosquitos, and my son, who often camps there, said they have not been a real problem with them.
We did not go on any of the trail with tall grass so ticks did not factor into our miserablity index, nor did mosquitos. The dusty road way was it.

I so love this forum
Nothing makes you feel better about your own trailer and your own camping spots than seeing pictures of you guys out doing your fiberglass thing.
More pictures!
Love it
