Well we finally got the new Scamp out of the driveway. I guess we're about 50 miles from home. We're parked in an RV park surrounded by those big thingys at Olde Stone Village near McMinville, OR. Getting about time to try out the stove and cook a bit of dinner. Then off to my brother's to listen to him and his band play some rock and roll. '

Happy New Year to you all

Byron,
Maiden voyage, eh. Gonna see if she floats? With all the rain lately, there are some communities where you could test that easily.
Congratulations on your new Scamp, and it's shake down cruise.

See, you don't have to go far to have a good time.

Hope you're keeping a journal you'd be surprised how much fun it is to bring those old memories back up...years from now.

Thanks,

I used to live in McMinnville. My brother lives in nearby Carlton and between the two of us we can manage to get into enough trouble. He probably know some people from the "Cruisers" car club since he used to managed a cruise-in/fly-in at the local airport.

Congrats on the move up to a real computer.
(I wonder what it's like to have only one computer???)
