Er ... Yeah !!

That's what this forum is for! We like pictures and vicarious camping. Please post them. [/quote]

OK Clive, we'll blame you!

This trip started last Saturday near Anacortes, WA. Headed East (13' Scamp Deluxe pulled by a Jeep Liberty 3.7 l) on State 20. Night at Early Winters. Saw only Egg of the trip a 17' Casita from Spokane. On to Priest Lake, ID still on 20. Night in Private RV place. Nice and about $29.

Came back to Cusick Lake north of Republic WA for night. Great State Park. Then along back roads along Canadian boarder to Oroville, Nighthawk, Loomis and 30 miles of washboard gravel road to Conconelly Reservoir for night. That's the picture with 20 motorhomes and me by lake.

Next to last picture is heading west over North Cascade Pass. Last picture is vicinity map.

1130 mile, 16.3 MPG. Far amount of rain but, as always, comfortable - Ron Mayo

Great stuff! Thanks for posting! Looks like a fantastic trip.

Reminds me of Scotland in a way. Though I never ran into a herd of cattle roaming free like that. Sheep, yes. One learned a whole new driving skill when rounding a bend and coming face to face with a herd of sheep in the middle of a one lane road. You got to know which way they were going to go by the look in their eyes!

What is the first pic with the numbered lanes?

You've got it Tom. I live on Lopez Island, West of Anacortes. Nice thing about a 13' Scamp, its way cheaper on the ferry than slightly larger trailers.
