Michigan UP State Park Camping

Does anyone have any recommendations/comments for camping in State Parks in Michigan Upper Peninsula? We have never been to that area before and would like to plan a trip there. We do enjoy State Park camping in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and camp with or without electricity (electricity is a nice bonus though). Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer!

While not a state park, the municipal campground at Ontonagon is very nice, and affordable. Right on Lake Superior, attractive place. A few years back it was only $12 a night but it may have gone up since then. Close to Porcupine Mountains which is also a nice place to visit (but I haven't camped there so can't say how the CG is).

Thanks for the tip Mike! This looks like a great option, as we would like to explore the Porcupine Mountains. Reviews of this campground look like they are overall favorable.

I liked Ft. Wilkins SP at Copper Harbor in the Copper Country, The Muni park west of Munising is nice and the Straits SP at St. Ignace is nice, from there be sure to take a day trip over the Macinkac Island with bikes if you have them.
