Minnesota - open campground now?

Hi,
Winding up a 2 month excursion in our Trillium. Tomorrow in Minneapolis, then a night in Fargo. I'm Canadian so I have no phone plan in US to call ahead.

Most sites don't indicate closing dates. Can anyone recommend places in in Minneapolis and Fargo that are still open? Would prefer with electricity for our space heater. Thanks in advance.

We stayed at River Terrace Park in Monticello Mn in the fall of 2014, about sept 25. It was real nice and the cost was 34.25 per night, full hookups, right on the bank of the Mississippi River. Easy off and on the interstate. Worth a stop, wouldn't take 15 minutes. This is 25 or 30 miles from Minneapolis on the north side so traffic not bad by then.

I cant tell you about Fargo nor do I know your route back to AB but if you plan to return through MB and SK you would be welcome to come two hours north of Fargo on I29 to our town on the border and camp in my driveway with power. You could access the house for bathroom. PM me if you want.

The only one I could find in Fargo that even implied it should be open is the Red River Valley Fairground campgrounds, 1805 Main Ave W, West Fargo, ND 58078

First come, first served, some amenities, like bathroom, and said "Winter Rates Nov. 1 to Closing -- $35". No way to know when closing will be. Call the chamber of commerce if you need more info.

It looks like you don't have anything definitely open for Minneapolis yet. The only place I found for sure is:

Savage is southwest of Minneapolis and due west of Burnsville, which is a better-known south Minneapolis suburb. If you don't have GPS, I can copy directions for you. The cost is $38/night with power and water.
