Need recommendations in Portland OR

We will be up in Portland for a seminar and also to just relax a little. Pulling the trailer and wondering where to stay. The seminar is in NW Portland so would like to stay in that area for a bit. Would prefer to have Wifi available as we'll need to get some work done.

Thanks,

I think would try to be south of down town rather than north. At least it seems to be the biggest traffic tie ups have been I-5/I-405 north. I-5 south slows down but usually keeps moving, not so I-5 north.
Out side of town is Champoeg State Park. Many people here really like that park.

Champoeg is great! A bit of a drive, but not too far.

Depends on how you measure. If you measure by distance it's probably a bit farther than Jantzen Beach, although not much. During rush hours the drive takes a lot longer Jantzen Beach, and if you get into the wrong lane you'll end up in Washington trying to figure out how to get back across the river.

Have agree with Champoeg, one of our favorite parks. If you want something closer to SW - here's a place:Roamer's Rest RV Park - have never been - pretty standard park (i'd drive to Champoeg myself but this gives you an option closer to town with WiFi).

We have stayed at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in Troutdale twice, and we really like it's convenient access to I-84 to I-205 and a connection to Burnside and Stark streets. It also has a good Wifi connection.

Thanks for all the suggestions. We ended up in jantzen beach as it had the stuff we needed. Got here today after fighting the backups on I 5. What a mess. Well give ourselves enough time to get to the where we need to be.
