Our Last Tent Camping Trip!

We went tent camping last weekend, as far as tent camping goes, it was the best tent campsite I think we have ever had. The campground is pretty new, with the best facilities we have ever seen.

Here is our campsite, nice landscaping and driveway:




Here is the tent 'pad', it is filled with a few inches of sand with maybe an inch of pea gravel on top:




And here is our first corn roast of the year, it was sooooo yummy!




It rained really hard for more than an hour on Saturday night and we did not get wet at all, the gravel and sand drained perfectly. The RV sites are really nice too and this will probably be a regular campground for us, it is only 30 minutes away.

Lars, no one says you have to go far to have fun! 30 miles sounds just about right in today's economy. Hopefully you'll get that new-to-you Scamp out often
