Our maiden voyage was a 2 week camping trip on Ocracoke Island, Outer Banks NC. In 90 degree full sun days, the camper was cool and comfortable for an afternoon siesta. The tiny kitchen served up fresh local fish, shrimp and clams every evening.
The tiny home on wheels became the toast of the National Park campground and we hosted daily tours of the updated interior. Many east coast campers had never seen a
Trillium before.
I'm sure the
Trillium would have survived hurricane Arthur, but the wife was nervous so we hit the road when the evacuation was issued.
After 25 years camping on the outer banks, mostly in tents, the
fiberglass surf shack was total camping luxury.
