Closing parks is insane. A few years ago when SC was having budget problems, they tried to close some of the state parks. But when it came time to actually choosing which parks to close, there were so many public complaints that the SC legislature backed down and left the park system intact.

I must admit, since one has to pay to use the parks on a it seems foolish to cut a revinue stream. Apparently, not eonough money is coming either from taxes and/or fees. I guess I'm confused.
