Recommend a park in Grant's Pass, OR?

Hello all!

We were just at the Nehalem NOG and really enjoyed meeting so many people, everyone was so friendly! Great experience for the 2nd gathering we've attended.

We are heading down into California and are looking for some advice on where to stay on the way back home to Vancouver, BC.

Does anyone know of any nice parks with power/water along the I5 in Grant's Pass or very close by?

Medford / Gold Hill KOA | Camping in Oregon | KOA Campgrounds

Halfway between Grant's Pass and Medford in Gold Hill, OR.
I've stayed there more than once on the way to the Oregon Gathering in July and met up with other "Gatherers" doing the same thing.

Valley of the Rogue south of Grants Pass is nice if highway sounds don't bother you. The park itself is peaceful but it does lie right next to the freeway. Convenient, has wifi, nice sites, lovely setting.

I haven't stayed there, but made a picnic stop there. It looks to be a nice place except for traffic sounds. I will probably stay at the park on a future trip to CA. I believe some of the camping sites have river views.

Oregon State Parks are pretty nice.

The following is a snip job of a reply I got from a friend who is Glass Egg friendly and lives (snowbirds) in the Medford/Grants Pass area:

...... there are 2 very nice new Parks at 1st off ramp to Grants Pass when driving North on I 5, full hookups and really clean. Directions to get to them are posted on the off ramp.

There is another one that 'older' right off the 2nd ramp when heading north. It is right of the ramp and right next to a good restaurant, Della's. Maybe a bit more reasonable, with full hookups.

Seven Feathers!!!! - yes it a casino but the RV park is well away from it and a very nice park with indoor hot tubs and heated bathrooms and the price is VERY right!!!

Gina, another of my fav spots to stop on the way home is at Champoeg State Park - about 7 miles off the I5 behind the same turn off as the Woodburn Outlet center.

Hi Gina,

This is a ways off I5 but if you were to travel north on 101 in CA take 199 at Crescent City and head north to Grants Pass you'll find Lone Mountain RV park in O'Brien, OR, about 37 miles southwest of Grants Pass. It is a very nice park and reasonably priced. Great wi-fi (a big necessity for me) clean restrooms/shower and quiet. Nice hosts. You'll probably find me there if I'm not out on a jaunt somewhere.
