According to the NFSwebsite, the campground has full hookups. Even sewer for RVs. But there are no photos and I haven't been able to talk to anyone who's been there.
We're taking our canoe with us to canoe the spring runs. We plan on canoeing several of them. We love those first magnitude springs--our favorite so far is Ichetucknee.

Bob, I called myself reading the NSFwebsite or some wesite on Salt Spring Campground in Florida because I thought I might like to try it. I thought it said no hook-ups. I will look again and get back to you.
Cancel that....must have been late at night (good excuse).

DIRECTIONS:
In Salt Springs, FL, turn into campground from State Rt. 19.
GENERAL COMMENTS:
The campground was previously private and purchased by the Forest
Service in the early 1970's. Except for dedicated tent sites,
campground is situated in cleared oak and pine woods. The tent
sites, on the other hand, are located under heavy oak-tree
canopy. Since the maximum stay permitted is six months and there
are full hook-ups, "Snowbirds" frequent the campground.
The campground is within walking distance of Salt Springs Run, which,
in about 5 miles, discharges into Lake George. Unlike many
National Forest campgrounds, the sites are close together with
little ground vegetation screening. Entrance gate locked at 8PM.
There is a small shopping center across the street from the
campground entrance. It contains a post office, mini-market,
laundromat, restaurant, Forest Visitor Center, etc.
