Scamp Site Hookup

Greetings
We are getting ready to do our first camping trip soon. :-)

Our camper is a 13' Scamp with no grey or black water tank. The site we choose is a full hookup and I am wondering what is the suggestion for the grey water, do people just fill a container and then dump that later?
Any suggestions :-)

Thank you

Fran & Michele.

I think the most common method is to use a catch-container that you dump at some point, either when it's close to full or whenever convenient for you. Just don't forget to empty it until after it overflows!

Some places now require an external grey water tank to be sealed- a closed container connected to the trailer with a fitting on both ends. You can buy a "blue boy" type container or make your own using a 5 gallon bucket with a lid and fitting. Make sure to allow for venting.

Required or not, I always used . closed container for gray water - after one morning I found a couple little rodent critters had fallen into my open bucket and drowned.

Thanks everyone that sounds like the deal is a closed container. :-)

You can get a plastic fitting that will go in the wast connection that has a hose fitting on it then you can run a drain hose from the sink drain directly to the waste drain. It is advisable to but a ball valve in this line and open it when you need to either wise you risk critters coming up and or the stink of the waste drain.

or use a small tote like you would if you didn't have a sewer to connect to.

I use one like this for my 13 Scamp without on board holding tanks.

6 Gallon Portable Tote Waste Tank Tote-N-Stor RV Camper 25951 - $..

Most of places where I camp will not allow open storage grey water containers.
