Last summer, we investigated the Olympic Peninsula in a Westphalia rented out of Bellingham, but only got as far south as Kalaloch. We intend to make a long run in whatever trailer we end up with (three in the running), and take up at Kalaloch where we left off, and continue south. We tend to be rather leisurely in our travels, so we may only get as far as Oregon. I am very interested in out-of-the-way camping rather than the bright lights; and am fascinated with the coast. I would very much appreciate recommendations on what to see and where to go from those with experience in the area.
Thanks
Cam

Regrets, just now noticed the identical topic already in play; I will monitor it.

If you want to loop back going North I would recommend Mt St Helens. Thers are some nice Isolated camp Grounds on the south side of the Mountain and take a day and see the Mountain, Miners car, Windy ridge, Now you can even hike to Spirit Lake, Spooky/
It is on the web as and the forest is listed as Gifford Pinchot . So much to see . so Little time. Or at Castle rock they have a good road to excellent views.
