I've watched this Nevada event evolve over the last few years. Now it's happening again next week. Anyone going in their FG Eggs? Seems they would fit very nicely.- Ron Mayo

I'm not going, but have some friends who have been and had a great time.

There was another post in July from Chris Dunphy here: Burning Man post from Chris Dunphy

There is a man named Roy M on this site that goes every year. He goes around the city and takes an unofficial poll of all of the Fiberglass RVs he sees (he has a Boler). His blog is pretty interesting (to me, as a Fiberglass RV Enthusiast and a Burning Man Festival attendee since 2001).

I haven't been out there with my Bigfoot yet, since I just bought it in June. I think I'll enjoy it "clean" for a year or so before I go out there and coat it in a layer of Playa Dust that I doubt will ever come off completely!

In one of the threads here there are pictures of some great custom FG RV paint jobs. One of them is a Giant Ladybug (I think it's a Boler), and I would bet money that the photo of it and its owner came from Burning Man!

I can't go this year but of course I really want to (like always!).... Have you been or are you going?

A gathering of people that march to the beat of a different drum and a plethora of on lookers and it appears to be a real fun event. Try to Tivo it as there have been programs from past years.

Burning Man is more of a Giant live art instillation that is made up of a multitude of smaller art instillations. It’s more of an experience than anything. Around here we have The Parade of Lost Souls at Halloween and Luminarias in the Summer. In short, lots of art instillations where those attending can become part of the exhibit just by being there and taking it in.

Last year over 45,000 people went.
