We spend Fri. night at Elk Neck State Park in Md.. Two sites away sat a 13 footer freshly painted and looking good. I spoke to the wife who said they were long time Nimrod campers and bought the Scamp at auction last fall and worked on it over the winter. Friday was showery and damp but we walked the beach along the Chesapeke side of the park. Saturday was sunny and warm, we walked the Elk River side of the park. We new spring had arrived because of the 3 snakes that I ran from, I HATE snakes.
