A site across from us last year was warned twice about leaving coolers and food out, on their third warning the police (RCMP) were there and the group was given 15 minutes to pack up all their belongings and leave the campground or they would be charged.
I was warned at Rocky Mountain National Park about leaving a cooler out. It only took once! I now make a habit of stowing everything regardless of wildlife! It just makes for a tidier camp site.
