With a forecast for sunny weather my wife and I took our 13 foot Escape trailer "Ladybug" on its maiden voyage to Bay View State Park, WA, which is close to Anacortes.
We arrived last Thursday and were able to get a choice camping spot with a view of Padilla Bay. The campsites have power and water, but no sewer hookups. You can find out more from
On Friday it was surprisingly warm, about 59 degrees F. Daffodils are in bloom here and in La Conner, a daffodil growing area close by. Here are a few pictures of our trip:
