17 years

We've been 'fulltiming' for 17 years, almost 1/3rd of our married life. Presently we're in Newfoundland approaching our 75th birthdays. It's amazing to me how well we've doing, hiking all over the place in the midst of an absolutely great iceberg year on Fogo Island Newfoundland. We're told the best iceberg year in 80+ years.

Full timing has made our lives healthier physically and mentally. It's been a marvelous life.

I suppose that's why they changed "Global warming to Climate change"

Congratulations on your good times together.

We've come to Fogo Island on our last three trips to Newfoundland. Each year has been ice record setting in one way or the other.

On the ferry trip to Fogo the entire trip was ice packed. When we got there there was ice to the horizon with icebergs mixed amounts them. Canada had a 17 million dollar race scientists climate change cruise to the Arctic. It had to be canceled too much ice.

Lilac are just beginning to bloom. This is the first week fisherman can clear their Harbors.

It was absolutely beautiful. Any where you go on the island there was a 100 major icebergs in your view. We've been coming for 8 years/2 months each time and have seen nothing like this year. Have to come back next year.

All those icebergs in the south are the result of climate change, warmer temperatures in the Arctic, which is where they come from.
Just because you have a snowball in your pocket, doesn't mean the world isn't warming.

Jim we have 100s of pictures of icebergs, unfortunately I think they're all too many pixels for this site.

We were just laughing about all the Scamp fun. Yesterday it was Tilt Cove on the Baie Verte Peninsula, the smallest town in Canada, population 4.

Looked up Newfoundland and area. Where do you camp when you visit there? It looks like an interesting place to visit. Also, what Scamp 16 model do you have? And does it keep you warm enough when you camp--which I'm sure it does. Do you use your camper to shower in or is the water affected when you visit such cold areas. You know, any freezing problems. Thanks.
