Glad you enjoyed your trip. A little tip that might save some headaches. If you start the
fridge at home at least a day before you leave and put cold stuff in it, you can for a day or so without it running. (I keep my
fridge running all the time when the egg is in the nest, on 120.) If don't turn it
battery you won't have to remember to shut off right away. I've gone at least two days in 70° to 80° without the
fridge running, everything stayed nice and cold.
If you're really concerned about it freeze a couple water bottles and put them in before you leave home.
Most of my camping is
boondocking. One trip early this year close to 100 days and 4 days with electricity, close to 20 days in one spot. Less worries, less dollars, and lots of fun.
