Since we've got a topic going for the Tug, how about similar questions for the trailer/5th wheel. What do you do and where do you go if the refrigerator quits and you're hundreds of miles from your "home base"? Camping World? Try to find a local RV service? How do you determine if they're can do quality work at a reasonable price?

I don’t know if this helps, but we stopped in Oregon at a great RV Park in Sutherland. We were invited to join the local “Happy Hour” to meet several of the campers. Great bunch of very friendly people.

In the discussion several of them were FULL timers. If I remember correctly, 4 or 5 of them had work done on their rigs. They said the Park manager recommended one local guy but not another.

So I guess what I’m thinking is, ask for referrals and weigh their personal evaluation and your need.

I have yet to have a problem, but if I do I will call Good Sam EMRS and I am sure they would fix it or have a recommendation who to go to.
