There may be chairs that would suit your needs other than the Ekones. We each have our favorite Ekones in our living room, but have been in homes with similar but smaller chairs. One that I remember was Brigger by Klein design.

My brother-in-law pulled a 25' Argosy by Airstream with a Chevy Caprice. Those older full sized cars made good tow vehicles and you arrived in comfort. I think that you will have to look for a rear engined car to tow most larger trailers.
I had a pop-up that weighed in over 2500 pounds and towed it with a 73 Grand Torino HT. Had to add air bags though, to keep the back end from dragging.

The Snoozy looks good for his recliner...just get it without the jack knife sofa.
the window behind the sofa looks like the way to get the recliner inside - maybe?
