Fulltiming what a great idea for a new forum.

We are retired and in our mid sixties, living in BC Canada and cannot take another cold, wet , sunless winter so plan to take off in October and maybe end up in Mexico We would like to hear from those who have done it. We want to take it slow camping with the scamp, and an odd motel for a break, no timetable , just stay ahead of winter , as much as we can .I would like to see Arizona and New Mexico on our way, but stay away from any mountains . [ got plenty here ] We would appreciate all info of interesting routes and stops , safe camping, ,taking pets thru the US regulations , RV organisations I should join ,medical coverage ,vehicle ins , does and dont`s ,and any thing I have not thought about will help. -- thanks Dave

I strongly suggest you visit the Escapee's Forum and the Full-Timing Forum on RV.NET. Lots of folks with lots of experience posting there and the archives are full of info.

I'll bet after you spend the first night in a motel, you'll wonder why you spent the money. You'll likely find that even when you visit friends, you'll prefer the driveway to the spare bedroom

Good resources. I would love to hear what you find interesting over there. Please post any insights here from your point of view.
