This highly desireable 16 foot, 1300 lb
fiberglass camper trailer with bathroom is in need or restoration but has great potential. At 15K new, there's a lot of room to spend a few hundred bucks and some labor to renovate and/or customize this trailer. I've let it sit too long with the intent of getting to use it and it's suffered from the years of inattention. But I soon will no longer have the parking space and it's time to face the reality that I'm not going to find the time to work on it or use it..
Known issues:
Axle weld broke but has been securely bolted in place,
tires are gone, appliances (range top,
refrigerator, heater, air conditioner toilet etc.) and electric are in unknown condition, a 6 by 30 inch section of the plywood bed has rotted out,
paint is deteriorated, some of the fiberboard trim inside has warped. Also, it does not have the electric brake option installed which I believe is required (only in New York) for any trailer over 1000lbs. The bed cushions (1 full size and two twin) however are in excellent condition. Every part for this trailer is available from the
Scamp manufacturer for pretty reasonable prices.
So if your looking for a project, especially if you have a eye to customize the interior as many do (see some Youtube videos for examples), then this is a rare opportunity.
I would expect that it be flatbedded to your location as I don't have a plate, the
tires are bad, electric hookup may need some work, etc.
