16' Scamp Fiberglass Trailer - $2700 (san jose downtown)

People... This is a fixer-upper. I don't want to spend time showing it to people who don't get what a fixer-upper is
This 1983 Fiberglass Scamp trailer is ready for your restoration. It needs all of the electrical and plumbing redone. Two windows need repair and needs minor fiberglass repairs. It has a shower, dinette, galley... it needs a fridge and a battery as well... and I just got the license plates and registration. The exterior is in good condition and it rolls nice - was recently driven from San Diego. You can tow this with a normal car - only 1000lb
I purchased a bunch of parts from Scamp including tail lights, some plumbing, trim...
Again, this trailer would best suit a person who has plumbing and electrical know-how - for the right person who wants a fun project... this is a hard to find trailer at this price. A cherried out 16' ft Scamp would be more than double my price.

Ah yes, another "1000 pound" Scamp. What do 16's actually weight? Closer to 1500-1800 I'd guess.

Probably more than that if it has/will have a bathroom, water heater, pump, etc. I figure our 16 footer is well over 2,000 lbs. loaded and we have none of the above amenities.

Scamp site says about 1750 LBS. I would say add 500 LBS.

May I make a suggestion? If you're going to copy and paste the text of the ad from craigslist, put it in quotes.
That should clue people in that you are not the seller; but just passing along these finds to the membership.
