Can't be a 1966.
The genre wasn't invented until 1968; and the first ones had flat roofs.
Flowboy???

I've seen older ones than that. I've never heard of that brand though

We know there are older molded trailers than 1966... the Geographic is one... I'm wondering if this might be a 1976 instead? Looks too much like an egg when we know the 1st Boler was produced in Winnipeg, MB by Ray Olecko

Hummmmm.

Donna, I did a quick web search and did find a photo of another one and also looked under the motor vehicle codes for travel trailers and there is an entry for Flow Boy Mfg.

Remember a while back the aqua egg? It was for sale a couple times. Wasn't that an old one also? Then there was a couple that are still for sale up in MI that nobody knows what they are - except old. They sure are cool looking though.

I found also that the Aussies had eggs for quite a while but I'm not sure how early. A quick search on eBay found a couple of their old eggs (1959 & 1960)

As I said, we know there are older molded fiberglass trailers... just not any this particular shape, right down to the ridge in the roof line. I hope someone on the forum goes to check it out and gives us all the story....

Very interesting. It looks like a 1970 or later boler in most aspects…but not all. It's obviously seen it's share of mods. However the things getting me are the shape of the wheel wells. In one pic it looks to even have a ridge around the wheel and not just been cut for larger wheels. Secondly the tail light placement. Unless they've been removed and the old holes FG over.
Reading here on FGRV there's great stories about Boler history and molds that were sent to the US in '72 that are now unaccounted for. It's kind of like the loch ness monster. Only ever depicted in blurry pictures were you can't get a positive ID. Raises a lot of speculation. I too hope someone here will check it out.

The 1966 "flowboy" in Nashville

Well hello y'all! This is my first post, I found y'all after my own exploration for a small trailer to pull behind a Ford Transit Connect. I saw the ad on Nashville Craigslist for this little camper and went to check it out. I haven't seen the Bill of Sale or Title/Registration yet but my theory is that this fiberglass RV is indeed a 1970's model Boler that has been place on a repurposed Flow Boy Mfg. utility trailer? I took 22 more photo for you folks that know your RV's to inspect - Please comment.
