1982 Scamp 13 FL

If I had the funds this would be sitting in my driveway right now, LOL. It's only 180 miles North of me. The owner bought it last year and has since lost her job and needs cash. Below is the email she sent.

1982 Scamp Travel Trailer

"Hi!
Overall it's in good condition.
I have done very little to it since I bought it a little over a year ago.
I'm selling it due to being laid off from my job and needing the money.
I found, it has some minor leakage from the window on the roof if you drive in the rain.
If you look at the part that attaches to window to the roof, mine has an area where water comes in under the sill.
It does not do this if you are parked.
There are a few other drips here and there, it's a 1982. I lived in it last fall for a few months, and I stayed dry.
It is all one area. It has a refrigerator, stove, and furnace that run on gas.
It has an electric ac and electric interior lights.
The ac works great. I have never used the heater or hooked up the gas lines. I tested them when I bought it and they worked.
I may have the gas hooked up.
There is a working sink but no other bathroom.
I am petite and I use a rubbermaid tote and two galllons of warm water to take a bath right inside the scamp.
I have a camping toilet that I purchased for around $20.
The brakes and brake lights work.
The cushions and carpet are original. I kept them both covered.
I also have a new piece of carpet cut that I never installed.
I used a throw rug.
The bunk at the end has the original cushions but never had the parts for the top bunk.
Scamp still makes all the parts and their parts are really affordable. I suggest browsing their website.
The most expensive part is the awning, which, it does not have.
It's in good shape and for the price, it's hard to beat. These are rare.
I am not sure you will find it big enough for 2 kids.
I found it most comfortable to use my camping stove and a table outside rather than using the table and kitchen.
But, you are welcome to come have a look.
Let me know if you want to make an appointment to see it".

Kind Regards,
Aimee Flannery

I have a rare beauty for sale.
This is a 13 foot Scamp Travel Trailer that is so light, I can pull it with my Subaru Forester.
Don't miss out on this rare classic.

What are you asking for your scamp? I have a sister and brother in law, looking to join our growing family of scamps. Also, where are you located?

Apparently "melissab" saw the craigslist ad and emailed Aimee Flannery and then posted Aimee's response here. If you're interested in Aimee's Scamp you'll have to go through the original Craigslist ad in the link.
