Ab (Canada) - 1974? - Trillium 1300 - $1500

No year, but judging by the furnace, and the Trillium sticker, I am guessing a 74, or 75. One broken window, and no sign of the front window rock guard. It may be there, just not visible. Otherwise a fine trailer. Awesome deal.

Options visible:
Front shelves, (rear is likely)
Furnace
Fridge

Trillium. Model 1300 | travel trailers, campers | Red Deer | Kijiji

Date Listed 27-Aug-14
Price $1,500.00
Address 777 Main Avenue East, Sundre, AB T0M
View map
For Sale By Owner Exterior is very good , but needs cushions recovered and two small window pains replaced . Spare is good but should replace the other two tires . Furnace , fridge ( 110 , 12 volt and gas ) and stove all work . The trailer is located 20km. West of Sundre .
Price is firm .

If I was not forbidden to purchase any more Trailers till I sell Humpty Dumpty and the Cantaloupe, I would not have posted it, I would have got in the van and purchased it.

I am headed out camping at our rec land this weekend just past Sundre, and may just go see it on Friday or Saturday. If nothing else, it would make a nice little cabin for friends at our land. I have always wanted a wee 13 footer.

Email sent to seller.

I did buy this on the weekend. Lots of work needed, but has the potential to be a great trailer.

Some good deals on Trilliums seem to happen in Alberta.

Another picture of Jim's Trillium.

It seems the escape hatch is on the front. Strange place for it.

Boring stuff at this stage, but here are a bunch of photos I took of the trailer in its current condition. It shows that though quite repairable, there is a bunch of work to do. I will start a new thread with the rebuild, as I ready it for my daughter's wedding present. The wedding is May 2nd, so I have the winter to work it over with lots to do. She has offered to put in lots of sweat equity helping me, while I dole out the cash to do the work.

Seeing I am pulling the windows, I imagine I could trade front to back, they look similar in size, though I never measured them.

The front and back windows are the same size. I have seen the escape hatch on the front quite a few times. I don't know if it was an option, or a mistake when the windows were re-installed by a former owner.

I really doubt these windows were reinstalled ever, Dave. There is nothing done to the trailer to improve it in the least. Pretty sure those are the original faded curtains in it.

I wonder if Trillium did this as an option? Why would you want an escape hatch literally three feet from the door? When you do the windows, I would install that window on the back. Unfortunately the screw holes will no longer line up, so you should plug the old holes in the fibreglass. I assume that the holes from the missing rock guard have been plugged.

I have to wonder how many times in the past, if any in fact, these escape hatches have been used. Even if you hang your feet off the bed, the door is two steps away.

The rock guard holes have been filled with silicone, as well as silicone gooped all around every window. This will all have to go when I pull the windows.
