Amerigo - $2700 in SC.

I happened to see this ad,I am just passing it along. No title bill of sale only might be hard to title in your state. I know nothing about this trailer other than what I have read on CL.

CL >columbia >all for sale / wanted >rvs - by owner

Amerigo fiberglass camper - $2700 (winnsboro)

Has anyone gone to look at this trailer?

I'm going this evening. My concern is that is has been for sale for at least one month. I think it's odd that it hasn't been snagged yet.

In the pic of the back 'drivers side' corner there is a piece of wood that looks to be sticking out. It looks like it's possibly an attempt to cover something at one time.

Any Amerigo owners around to shed some light on this?

What did you think of the Amerigo when you saw it the other night?

Did anyone look at it yet? SC is about a 5 hour drive and I'd rather not take that on unless someone here has put eyes on it.

I think under a certain size SC does not issue titles. I bought a trailer years ago in SC and took the bill of sale to DMV in Ohio no problem...

Here in MD land of DMV Nazi's it's nearly impossible to get something tagged without a title, fifteen inspections. and a hamper full of cash.

I lived in Md before for 20 years and would never live their again. Very nice state but the laws are terrible. Reminds me of Chicago, DC and NYC very little second amendment rights, cant even get a carry permit. I think the process in SC with a bill of sale is all you need to title a trailer in another state. Check to verfiy before making the purchase..

I only moved up here for a job to pay for my daughters college so she wouldn't be buried in student debt. I don't plan on staying, it does have some really beautiful places but the state and counties are so mismanaged it's not funny. Same as the Fed they just keep spending money they don't have and don't know where they'll get. Meanwhile the roads are full of pot holes and the handouts for those that won't work are plentiful.

I just picked up this one in Tampa 3 weeks ago.
If your patient the right one will come along. A
little cleaning, waxing and shampoo looks new.
Not bad for a 2008 I decided on the smaller 13'
for the gas millage it only dropped 2 mpg towing
the Scamp...

We almost bought in Maryland but ended up renting in DC and we're sooo glad we did. Getting anything handled with the government in that state is a joke.
I don't see too many trailers for sale in the DMV area (not sure what part of MD you're in), but we ended up driving up to Jersey to buy ours.

Wow Mike that is a little cream puff you got there! I'm patient too, been going back and forth between an RTT, Popup, and one of these, leaning on the latter.

Kelly I also rent up here, would never buy anything here property wise ever. The first trip to the DMV to get my license took over 5 hours, in the end they forgot my motorcycle endorsement, I asked where it was and they said you old license didn't have one, when they showed my old one I pointed to the "MOTORCYCLE ALSO" in bold print on the bottom, another 40 minute wait.

Here you have to get into a line JUST to get a ticket to get into ANOTHER line. It is the worst DMV I have ever experienced in my life anywhere. They actually staff it with a state trooper during business hours, if that doesn't speak of their customer service I don't know what does!

Title

We live in GA and you don't need a title here just a bill of sales. Any more pictures on this one.
