Boler Clone for Sale in AZ- Identify?

I vaguely recall seeing a model before with two rear windows. The flat door is also unusual. Anybody know what it is? Definitely not a Casita or Scamp unless it’s a one-off modification...

I have no knowledge of the trailer or seller. Just seemed interesting.

Got it, I think!... a Play-Mor II

I was wondering why they painted the window frames. Now I know.

From the archives...

I kinda like the two smaller windows in the back rather than the one large one. Looks cute.

It was one way to get ventilation on the back side, since most Boler clones of that era had a fixed plexiglass rear window due to the curvature of the shell.

I prefer Scamp's solution, which was to reshape the rear shell to accommodate a large slider for ventilation and views.

The side window has 90 degree corners, and the rear windows have radiused corners. I'm thinking the rear were done at a later time.

Boler Clone for Sale in AZ- Identify?

I think they’re OEM, Jack. Every one I found in the archives was like that. Scamp sent some out that way in the 90’s and 00’s when they offered non-radius jalousies as a factory option for the side windows, but kept the radius slider in back.

It looks a little busy to my eye, too. But the old-style jalousies are nice for ventilation. Sometimes function wins over aesthetics.

Play-Mor II’s were only made from 1985-86, so this ad is really wrong. Someone might be able to use that as a bargaining tool, though. Such a neat looking little thing.
I called the factory in MO, and the receptionist, as well as everyone she polled in the office, had no idea the company had made a FG trailer!

Nice looking unit! I would add a support for that upper kitchen cabinet. If the floor is good, it looks to be a pretty good buy.

Later in the ad the seller calls it a Casita/Scamp. I have to wonder what the title says?
