Cabana Gooseneck Trailer $1950 OR- a rare one

http://eugene.craigslist.org/rvs/4779461168.htmlCabana

Gooseneck Trailer - RARE - $1950 (Springfield)

1975 Cabana Gooseneck Trailer with a gooseneck hitch. This is a very rare molded fiberglass trailer - similar construction as a Boler, Burro, etc. The serial number indicates that there were at least 7 of these made by Cabana Coach Corporation in Forest Grove, Oregon. I have been unable to find any sign of another such trailer anywhere.

18 foot trailer. There is a pedestal for a double mattress. Includes sink, stove with 3-burner cooktop, propane furnace, refrigerator. There is also a toilet/shower combination. Also a table and bench, as well as a wardrobe and storage space.

The trailer also has a new tinted plexiglass skylight.

Includes extra tires/rims, jacks and a gooseneck hitch plate for a pickup truck.

The trailer is a bit of a project. When we got it, the interior carpeting was moldy and wet. The carpeting has been removed and the trailer is ready for a new interior on the walls and ceiling. There is a new coat of roof paint on the trailer but it still needs some minor sealing - probably a new coat of rubberized roof paint. It's lightweight, durable and CUTE.

$1950 or make a serious offer. Now is the time to get started and have it ready for spring!

OH NO, I had so hoped John would post cleanup/mod pics. This is an original thread from 2013: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...ing-60505.html

Thanks Donna

I originally saw this on Molded Fiberglass Trailers | Fiberglass RV's For Sale. Perhaps he will pop back in here and answer question for prospective buyers. It's a project but very unique and fairly priced. Even a rare shell like that could garner a a descent price.

There's also a Contempo Condo listed there, but my new born is limiting my internet time to short spurts. Maybe some else can make a proper referral with pics.

I know of another one of these...but it's pretty rough.

It's sitting in the front yard of a house in the town of Union Bay on Vancouver Island. You can spot it as you drive along the highway through town.

I would LOVE to buy that trailer, but it is too far out of reach!

Cabana gooseneck trailer

I know that this is an old thread but I thought I'd share mine that I just purchased since this is the only information that I have found on these on the Internet. 1975 Cabana 18. Everything works and is there minus the water heater and furnace.

Cabana gooseneck

I see this is an old thread, but is the only other Cabana that I can find information on. I just purchased this Cabana 18. It's serial number is 8. It needs some minor repairs but is very solid and complete minus the hot water heater (which froze and burst) and the furnace. I am not sure exactly how I'll restore it yet as far as colors and carpet but I will update as I go.
