This Casita sold on ebay Sept. 6 from a guy near Detroit for $5,302. A scammer has been posting it on craigslist here and there. it always says, "This auction is for..." and craigslist is not an auction site... that's a big hint right there that it's bogus. Today it's on the Fort Smith craigslist for $2,700... and the idiot forgot to strip off the original seller's phone number! How dumb is that.

Super buy or a SCAM.
This 1993 Scamp has carpeted flooring, inside is like new and so is the out side, approximately only 2500 miles on new tires, new vent lids, sleeps 4, 3 burner gas stove, small refrigerator, NEVER BEEN SMOKED IN, the interior is a tanish brown with a table that folds down into a bed and the couch located in the front of the camper also makes into a bed or bunk beds. I am the third owner of the camper the first were an older couple that never used it and the second was a family member that only used it a couple times and I have taken it to Colorado twice

This is the same Scamp that sold just recently on ebay. This was listed in Arizona and now Las Vegas on Craig's List. It is a SCAM.

I do not understand why ebay can't keep these real scammers off ebay, since they refused to post my ad and banned me (forever I guess) for fraudulent activity when I tried to sell a trailer there. I tried for months to find out what I had done that was fraudulent since all I did was try to put the information about the trailer on ebay , but they wouldn't tell me . I reported them to the BBB, and the BBB checked into my complaint, but unless I can show ebay a letter of sale from the people who bought the trailer (from a newspaper ad), they wouldn't reconsider. I had given the buyers a letter of sale, but never thought I would need one, as I had the money. Don't even remember who they were. But, I am stuck in ebay purgatory forever, unable to buy or sell under my own ID. Just wanted to complain, doesn't seem fair. Why me? I never scammed anyone! And, what does a letter of sale from the buyers prove anyway????

This may be legit, but every ad I found had a different price.................... So be aware! But if it's legit, it looks like a screaming deal!

After even further searching, I think this is the same one as Lizbeth posted thats now flagged. I checked out her post before posting this but the towns were a flippen half way across the country from eachother as well as that post is flagged. I am thinking huge scam here. Lizbeth can verify that the pic is the same hopefully someone can delete this one all together.

Craig's List is full of those scams. "If it sounds too good to be true, it likely is too good to be true.........." Or, something like that. I often wondered, when I was searching for mine anywhere in the SE a few months ago, and began recognizing so many of those 'dubious' ads, just how many folks might have succumbed to the temptation.
