Classifieds Posting Rules

Our classifieds section is offered as a benefit of membership. We expect ads placed to be related to the topic of this forum. Place only one ad per item - do not post or re-post an ad in more than one section of the classifieds. Reply to ads if you are interested in actually purchasing the item. It is up to each party to verify the authenticity of the other. Ads may be removed by our staff at any time for any reason.

Posting a "For Sale" ad for Your Trailer

• Post your ad here: https://www.fiberglassclassifieds.com/
• include the make, model, year, & asking price. The title is a good place to put this information.
• Describe the trailer, listing trailer features including factory options, and modifications.
• Describe the condition of trailer and components. Is it new? Has it been restored? Is it a project looking for restoration?
• Include photos of your trailer’s interior, exterior, and special features. If you don't, interested buyers will ask for them.
• DO NOT include your contact information in the listing (such as phone number, email, exact location). You can include a nearby city to give people an idea of your general area in the state or province. PLEASE use forum Personal Messaging (PM) or forum email to exchange personal information.
• Mark your ad "sold" when the the transaction is completed or let the moderating staff know when the item is sold, or is no longer for sale, so the ad can be archived.
• If you wish to edit the content of your ad make sure you are logged in, locate your ad and use the edit options. You can also find ad management options underneath your username in the top right corner. Click to see the menu options.

Posting a reply to a "For Sale" ad

• If you are interested in purchasing, post your questions and responses below the ad listing on the classifieds page. The seller will receive a notification of your inquiry. While you may respond to the associated discussion thread, the seller may not receive a notice of your post and so may not respond.
• Limit your responses to requests for clarification of details pertaining only to the item the seller is listing.
• Be genuinely interested in purchasing the item. If you are not interested in purchasing, don’t post. Off topic posts will be removed
• There are to be NO price negotiations, or discussing of cost or payment in public discussions. Please use PM (Private Messaging) or email for this.
