Can't say that I have seen many "under 12 foot trailers" hereabouts, without them being pop-up tent trailers.

I've has several of the Toyota based motor homes with the 22r 4 cyl engine. I just cringe when I see people post an mpg of 18 or higher. I did, "one time", hit 20 mpg with an extremely high tail wind for a small stretch. Other than that one time I usually averaged 12 to 15 if I drove nice.

22R 18' Sunraders with a 4 speed ,and not driven much over 55 mph can get 18 mpg. The A43D automatic transmission at 65 MPH is an economy killer.

It's the ads for 21 foot toyhome with a V6/automatic that claim 22-25 MPG that are killers.

I have noticed a mid-America penchant for measuring just the body and ignoring the tongue length.
