I like the way it is now. I look at the referrals when I want and ignore them when I don't want to, even though I have a trailer I would not trade. It can give me some idea of things to do to my trailer sometimes, keep track of prices, where you can find your kind of trailer, and help guard against fraudulent sales. It also allows us to help out newbies, because they will sometimes follow up on their purchase.

I appreciate the efforts of people who post referrals like you do Robin and Kevin who faithfully follows with images. I agree with Raya that I would not like the same referrals showing up as new posts.

I found my trailer from the referrals here on fiberglassrv. I don't think it needs changing.

Yeah, (most of) what CindyL said! I don't read them every time, but I enjoy the referrals as they are. Thanx to the Moderators for their 'behind the scene' efforts which keep this Forum as terrific as it is!

And Frederick ... I wish I could have known your Grandparents - what wonderful gifts of wisdom you were given!

Now ... back to the original thread ...

May I suggest we simply put a sticky up on this forum indicating the nature of referals and not worry too much about keeping the area clean and tidy. Yes, if someone knows of an expired or sold trailer, common courtesy should prevail in posting that info for others, yet it does not mean we need a full time sanitation engineer. I like the idea of an easy button. I'm wondering if the software does not already have one built in. Most board softwares have the ability to flag a post and draw the attention to the moderators.

It is a big thankless task of finding, posting and cleaning up the area. I appreciate the efforts of all involved and morn the loss of Greg and his wonderful search capabilities. I bow to you all

Even though I may have a trailer, I watch this area for what is on the market. Is there a wreck for someone needing parts? Is there a specific model that I know someone has been looking for that I can send a heads up to? What is the going price for the trailer I've been keeping my eyes open for? Is there something I've never seen before?

Edit: to changing bow to correct gender, I didn't realize we had both available here.

Very well said Roy!
