SK (Canada) - 1979 - Trillium 4500 - $3000
It looks like a 1978 Deluxe to me.
Possibly the best deal for a Trillium in Canada at the moment.

What kind of fridge is that? The newer Dometic?

Not an RM36. If it is a later 1978, they may have put in an RM360, which is what went in 1979 and later 4500's

David Tilston, now you have me mapping the route from Seattle to Saskatchewan!!
I feel like I know you, because I read your posts all the time. I was interested to read the one you wrote comparing the 13' to 15' Trilliums. I really like Trilliums as well.

There is another nice one in Saskatchewan now, but this one is still a better deal:

Ok Please do not remark on the fact that I am a total newbie. I called on the ad yesterday, also sent an email thru kijiji. Today went to call again and the ad is gone. I didn't write down the phone number, ugh, and used an international dialer to save a few cents so it doesn't show up in my recent calls. Any of u more savvy souls happen to have the phone number from the ad??

Thanks Roy--I wish I'd printed the ad.
Okay so I got savvy (yes, hard to believe!!) and googled the Regina address in the first ad, thanks to Mr David Tilston. They have a car for sale so I called the number on the car. Asked about the Trillium and it sold a week ago. Don't know why the same Trillium came up a few days later in Moose Jaw, after the one in Regina was sold (according to the person at 306-569-2491). But I do smell something fishy. The 1970 Chevy Impala is still for sale.
I've seen an ad for a 4500 in BC but it doesn't have front bunks; has a toilet there instead? Owner says it's easy to convert to bunks, but I'm not sure.

Lise, David would be the best person to answer about converting the one with the bathroom to bunks but when I look at it the word 'easy' doesn't instantly come to mind
I know they have been trying to sell it for a while and the price keeps dropping, not sure why it is not selling.
Good luck in your search, the right one will come along you just have to be patient.

Thanks kootenaigirl! It's good to be reminded, I want to wait for the right one. It's hard to be patient. I did have my hitch looked at today, it's good and $100 will add the electric and draw bar/ball. Also planned a day practicing with a U-haul trailer next week. Little by little.

Let the front washroom pass, somebody will want one. Give it time and your trailer will eventually come up. The U-hauls usually have a longer tongue in relation to the body and will handle differently (a little easier as they don't over react as quickly)
Download the Fiberglass RV - Document Center - Buyers Check List become familiar with it and go see some trailers, even if they are not what you are looking for. It will get you familiar with floor plans, build differences and the components.
I had my heart set on an U-haul VT, after losing out on my 1st one due to sellers remorse. A few more got snatched out from under me. I finally gave up and got the 4500. Shortly afterwards another VT was offered to me. It was a hard decision, 2 pages of the pros and cons of each trailer were mulled over for a few days before we finally turned it down. The layout and windows were the final factors for suiting our current needs.
Your trailer will come up, they always do.

Thanks Roy! Good idea to try out the checklist, I will see if I can look at one before it sells.
And thanks too for the reminder that my trailer will come. I kinda want to put the words into a pop song now.

Thanks kootenaigirl! Sent a message, looks great on the exterior.
The road up there looks quite steep in one section, checking with a friend who might be familiar with the area. Will wait to see what i hear.
Hope you're enjoying a great day.
