LOL! I was going to buy all of them if I could have. I was thinking 1k to 1.5 k per though not 3 k each.

I was able to look up the sale prices for the two Casitas that sold in Maryland before these went. Someone got a bargain compared to the California ones.
One went for $1785 and the other for $1920. They were both in much better shape and didn't have missing parts.

Considering the overall condition, missing appliances and the auction fees to be added, anything over about $1750 was fools money. The ones in MD were worth a lot more than the Barstow units and at least they sold for a fair price.

Like I said someone had made up their mind prior to the sale that they were going to buy them period. It didn't matter what anyone else bid!

2013 Auctions

Anyone heard of any upcoming auctions that may be a good place to purchase used Casitas?

Check Govdeals frequently

I'm here just off Fort Meade base in Maryland and frequently bid on various surplus items including multi-ton trucks and generators. It's a crap shoot, and frequently it's just that- crap. Pay close attention to the condition categories and don't be optimistic! It's fun, and you can turn a profit, but it's often buy three to make one.
